Sophomore Catherine Knox was named New York State Collegiate Track Conference (NYSCTC) Runner of the Week following her 11th place finish at the Roberts Wesleyan Harry Anderson Invitational last Saturday.

Her time of 18:42.1 was 11th overall, but was the top finisher from a Division III school.  Her time helped the Yellowjackets earn a third place team finish at the meet.  On the year, Knox has two top-15 finishes in the two events she has run.  She placed 6th at the UR Yellowjacket Invitational two weeks ago.

In the latest NYSCTC team poll, the University of Rochester women sit third in the conference behind only St. Lawrence and Ithaca with 74 points.  In the men's poll, the Yellowjackets are first of the 13 teams with 90 points and six first place votes.
